No title appears on the map; the title applied here is based on content. No scale or legend is given; orientation is marked along the borders on all four sides with north at the bottom. The map placed the capital town of Suzhou Prefecture in the center, surrounded by rivers, lakes and dams in all four directors. The map also includes explanatory text. A seal of “Britain leads the Ever Victorious Army” on the verso of the map. This is a simple geographical location map, and it can be used for military purpose. This is one of Charles George Gordon’s No. 32 collection. The map may have been drawn during Xianfeng and Tongzhi period, 1855-1864.
